Royal Rangers

Southern Pacific District

Frontiersman Camping Fellowship (FCF) is a special program of Royal Rangers that provides men and boys with additional opportunities to develop specialized outdoor skills based on the lore and traditions of the early American frontiersman.

Junior Leaders Training

Junior leader training takes place in the outpost and on the district level. Outpost training involves the Junior Leader Foundations program and leadership merits. District training involves the Junior Leadership Training Academy and a series of Action Camps.

The advancement system consists of four advancement trails, one for each of the four age groups in the program. Each trail is designed to meet the specific needs and interests of boys in that age group.

Chartering is the annual process by which Royal Rangers outposts register their membership for the coming year. Chartered groups enjoy a variety of unique benefits. Chartering also provides leadership teams with valuable information to help them monitor the health of the program and shape its ongoing development and success.

Royal Rangers groups have the flexibility of choosing from a variety of different options when selecting a uniform.  This flexibility enables the group to select a uniform that best suits the unique needs and interests of their group.  The meeting or event at which they are worn determines the level of formality.
